It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Delores Jane Green on June 17, 2018. Jane was the daughter of Margaret and Anson Hall, born in Warren, Ohio. As a child her family moved to Phoenix, Arizona, and there she made life long friends. She attended Grand Canyon College where she met Charles Green. On August 16, 1963 they began their 54 years of life together. Jane raised three children, Jennifer, Wade and John, and welcomed one son-in-law, Andrew, and two daughters-in-law, Paula and Janell into the family. She helped raise five grandsons, Steven, Christopher, Garrett, Emmitt, and Wyatt. Jane worked as a teaching assistant in School District 51, hosted foreign exchange students, was part of the Friendship Force hosting adult exchanges from all over the world, she served as Deacon in church and along with Charles, managed the X Lazy F Ranch on the Black Mesa. Her smile, spirit of hospitality, love of little children, nature, flowers, and God will be greatly missed. We are ever grateful for the staff at LaVilla Grande and HopeWest for their compassionate and loving care for Jane. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to HopeWest, 3090B North 12th Street, Grand Junction, CO 81506 or LaVilla Grande Bridges to Rediscovery, 2501 Little Bookcliff Dr., Grand Junction, CO 81501. We invite you to come remember and celebrate Jane’s life and faith at 11:00 a.m. July 10th, at First Presbyterian Church.
