Frances Tuttle passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018, at Crossroads Memory Care Unit in Delta, with her family by her side. Frances was born on August 17, 1935, in Fort Collins, CO to William and Esther Schaefer Schilling. She graduated from Wellington High School in 1953. On June 13, 1954, in Fort Collins CO, Frances married the love of her life, Robert J. Tuttle. Their marriage produced three sons, Steven Joe, Michael Paul, and Stuart Robert. In 1967, the family moved to the Eckert area where Frances made their house a loving home. She enjoyed gardening, landscaping, rock laying, texturing, building houses, and ranching. She loved to read and was an expert seamstress, making clothes for her family. Her talents will be greatly missed. Frances is survived by her husband, Robert, of Delta, CO; son, Stuart (Mary Paspernacki) Tuttle of Flagstaff, AZ; sisters-in-law, Edith Gutowski of Pontiac, MI, and Ann Tuttle of Wilmington, Delaware. She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, William and Esther Shilling; two sons, Michael and Steven, and brother, Robert Schilling. A visitation will be Thursday, July 19, 2018, from 5 - 7:00 p.m. at the Taylor Funeral Service Chapel, 682 1725 Rd., Delta. Funeral services will be on Friday, July 20, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1000 Pioneer Rd, Delta, with the Rev. Kurt Van Fossan officiating. A graveside service will follow at the Mesa View Cemetery. Memorial contributions to be made to HopeWest Hospice P.O. Box 24 Delta, CO 81416 or a charity of your choice, in Frances’ name.
