Diane Darlene DeOnier June 15, 1954 - June 6, 2018
Diane Darlene Milholland DeOnier, 64, passed away in her home surrounded by memories of loved ones. Diane was born June 15, 1954, to Stewart Clark Milholland and Carolyn Diane Belden, and was the second eldest of the clan. Her parents preceded her in death. She was raised in Palisade, Collbran, and Grand Junction. Diane loved to help people, getting her start as a volunteer in her children’s kindergarten classes and middle school trips. When the kids grew older she started helping Tope Elementary as a Reading Aide to assist kids in need of additional educational needs. After that job came to an end due to district budget cuts, she was one of the wonderful smiling faces at a local bookstore. In her retirement she enjoyed spending time with family. Diane is survived by her husband, Chris DeOnier; sons, Damien and Kyle DeOnier; brother, Clark Milholland and his children, Brooke (Kyle) Kimber, Amy Milholland, and CJ Milholland; brother, Ray (Joan) Milholland and their children, Sean (Brittany) Milholland and Lindsey (Tyler) Almond; sister, Rene (Dwayne) Fox and their children, Danielle Erickson and Matthew Erickson, and step-children, Bobbie, Stephen, Ashley, and Gabe; and many friends, all of whom she loved dearly and told them that every chance she could. We have lost a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and close friend. A memorial service will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary on Tuesday, June 12 at 2:00 p.m.
