IVA C. SCHLUTTER

Mrs. Iva Catherine SCHLUTTER of Denver will be buried in the home town of her childhood Friday morning. She passed away in a Denver hospital February 26, 1962, at the age of 69 years.

Iva Catherine, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. L (Cottonwood) Doll, was born in Leadville, Colo June 3, 1892. She moved with her parents to Gypsum, when she was a child. She graduated from Eagle County High School there in 1910 and on June 12 of that year was married to Will Schlutter in Glenwood Springs.

The couple made their home in the Gypsum area for a number of years, then bought a ranch on Brush Creek and lived there for a period of years. In 1951 they moved to Denver where Mr. Schlutter bought a business.

Mrs. Schlutter is survived by her husband, Will of 4137 Zuni St. Denver; three daughters, Mrs. Chad (Ruth) Daley, Fruita; Mrs. Helen Johnson, Craig; and Mrs. Billie Lyle., Glendale, Ariz.; and two sons, Frank of Eagle and Ralph of Ogden, Utah. All of the family attended the funeral.

The Reverend Clay Moorhead conducted the service at the Gypsum Methodist Church Friday morning. Pallbearers were Lloyd and Vincent Eichler, Allen Eaton, Joe Dice, Jack Hill and Herb High.
