Brian Matthew Tate August 13, 1987 - April 4, 2018
Brian Matthew Tate, 30, of Grand Junction Colorado, died April 4, 2018, at his home. He was born August 13, 1987, in Montclair, California. He was a Marine serving two tours in Iraq, and served a total of eight years when he was honorably discharged. Brian is survived by his longtime love, Brenda Hixson; his two sons, Matthew Ryan and Wesley Allen; his parents, Theresa Ramsey, Jerry Cordell, and Melinda Cordell; sisters, Leslie Tate, Ashely Robinson, and Jessica Tate; nieces, Hope, Jerzey Smith-Dunn and Maddie Jo; nephew, Tyler (Savannah); uncles, Daren (Rosie) and Sean, and his chosen brother, Brandon Vigil. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Linda Tate, and Jerry Cordell Sr.; step-father, Henry Ramsey, and best friend, Keith Kramer. Services will be held April 13, 2018, at the Canyon View Vineyard Chapel at 3:30 p.m. Anyone that knew, respected and loved him is welcome to attend. Arrangements have been entrusted to Martin Mortuary.
