Eileen was considered the perfect and gracious hostess. It was a privilege to be included to be included at here elegan parties. She loved gardening and created one of the first gardens in town, with luscious flowers surrounding her home on Mill Creek Circle

"She was a mother, a friend, a sister and everything in combination ," Says Sheika Granshammer, a long-time friend. "I loved her very much."

In 1961, Fitz Scott built the first building in Vail. He designed many of Vail's early commercial and residential buildings, including the Lodge at Vail.
