Alice Mae Hubbard March 11, 1925 - April 11, 2018
Alice Mae Wareham Hubbard, age 93, went home to her savior on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at HopeWest Hospice . Alice Mae Wareham was born March 11, 1925, to Hartley Orlando Wareham and Lacorn Wrigley Wareham in Ferron, Utah. She married Orren B. Hubbard on March 11, 1942, in Ferron, Utah and immediately moved to Gateway, Colorado to work in the Ranching Business. After 58 years of marriage "Ike" O.B. Hubbard passed away. To this union were born three daughters, Sandra Silliman of Green River, UT; Lova Sue (Derryle) Baker of Rangely, CO, and Becky (Bud) McNiel of Loma, CO. Alice also gained two step-daughters, Barbara Dalton of Spanish Fork, UT, and Pat Richards (Don) of Nucla, CO. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 24 1/2 great-greatgrandchildren; sister-in-law, Aggie Wareham; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ike; brothers, Lynn, Clyde, Ted, Orson and Bob Wareham; sisters, Grace Fredrickson and Zelpha Dyches, and grandson, Preston Bert McNiel Mother was the ultimate wife, mother and caregiver, always ready to prepare a meal anytime guests came to their home. They resided in Gateway, Grand Junction, Glade Park, Rangely, and back to Grand Junction and Glade Park. She then retired in Loma until she moved to The Commons four years ago. A very caring and loving "Little Lady" will certainly be missed. Heaven just received a very special Angel. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018, from 10 11:00 a.m., at Martin Mortuary, 550 North Avenue, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
