Peggy Owens Price, 91, Grand Junction, died July 20, 2018, at her home. Services will take place in Canadian, Texas. She was a librarian. Survivors include three sons, James of Phoenix and John and Robert, both of Grand Junction; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Peggy Owens Price, 91, of Grand Junction, passed peacefully in her sleep Friday, July 20, 2018. She was born to Henry and Ivan Bailey Owens in Vernon, Texas, in 1926. In 1950 she married T. J. Price in Canadian, Texas. They had four children, James, Mary Jane, John and Robert. The family resided in Monrovia, California, for many years before moving to Grand Junction, Colorado, in 1976. She kept busy raising her family and also worked as a librarian in the schools. An excellent cook, she made fabulous pies. Family and friends often enjoyed her Saturday night taco dinners. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband in 2011 and her daughter in 2013. Survivors include her sons, James (late wife Cindy), of Phoenix, Arizona; John (Lily) and Robert (Janice), both of Grand Junction, Colorado; 12 grandchildren; 19 greatgrandchildren, and one great-great grandchild on the way. She was the last surviving sibling in her family of nine brothers and sisters. She was blessed with many nieces and nephews, and their Aunt Peggy loved and was loved by all of them.
