LeRoy J. "Pete" Borich March 7, 1929 - April 15, 2018
John LeRoy Borich "Pete" passed away Sunday evening, April 15, 2018, at his home in Loma, Colorado with his loving wife, Louise at his side. He was 89 years of age. LeRoy was born March 7, 1929, in Glenwood Springs, CO to Anna and Pete Borich. He joined the Navy in 1946 and served on a transport carrier in the Philippines through 1948. In 1952 he married Louise Pennington in Delta, CO. LeRoy and Louise bought the family ranch at Ragged Mountain in 1965, where he was able to live out his passion for ranching. He leaves his wife, Louise; children, Sherry, Toni, Debbie (Jerry), Pete, and Rick (Kelly); ten grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; one brother, and one son. Graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Paonia, Colorado, Monday April 23, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
