EMMETT QUINLAN PASSES AWAY VERY SUDDENLY.

Emmett Qpinlan, long time resident of the county died suddenly in the home of his sister, Mrs. Lawrence Mosher in Gypsum Saturday evening, two hours after his release from a Glenwood hospital. Mr. Quinlan had been to Glenwood for a checkup and a short time after his arrival in Gypsum suffered a heart attack, and died shortly after. Mr. Quinlan was born in Leadville on July 9, 1882, and spent the greater part of his life in McCoy, going there when a small boy, and made this county his home since. He recently had been employed by Eagle county on road construction, and it was but a few weeks ago, while employed on the construction of a new road between Sweetwater and Dotsero, that he is thought to have suffered a slight stroke. At that time he received injuries when he fell from a cliff, and his health had been poor since that time.

Funeral services were held In Gypsum Thursday afternoon, with burial in Cedar Hill cemetery at Gypsum. His wife and a son, Raymond, preceded Mr. Quinlan in death. He is survived by four children, Bob, stationed at Grosse Isle, Mich., with the Seaßees, who was unable to be present at the funeral; Walter, stationed at Ft. Logan; Mrs. Mary Rule of Brush creek, ana Mrs. Florence Randall of Eagle. Three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Mosher of Gypsum, Mrs. Elizabeth Bedell of McCoy, and Mrs. Mary Martin of Denver also survive.
