JOHN SHURR DIED LAST NIGHT
John Shurr, 80, died Wednesday evening in Glenwood following a lengthy illness Services will oe held Sunday at 2 o’clock- with Burdge Mortuary of Glenwood in charge of funeral arrangements. Mr Shurr is survived by a daughter, Mrs Goldie Gates of Burnis

JOHN HENRY SCHURR
John Schurr 83. of Burns died in a Glenwood hospital August 10. following a six-months illness Mr. Schurr had been a resident of Eagle County for 39 years, moving here in 1916. He was horn at Luray, Kansas August 19, 1872 and (spent his childhood in Russell County. Kan In 1898 he married Helen A Kimble, who preceded him in death in August, 1928 Mr Schurr was a railroader until his retirement in 1928, and : was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by (six sons' Orie, Dave, Donald of Denver; Murl, Klemm of Grand Junction; and Frank of New York and two I daughters: Mrs Wanda Morris of Fraser and Mrs Goldie Gates of Bums, with whom he made his home. Three brothers- Will and Frank of Luray and Bert of California . one sister, Ida Hiler of California | and 13 grandchildren and 14 j great grandchildren also surviveServices were conducted by Rev. Byron Hass ted t at the Gypsum Methodist Church August 14 land interment was in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Gypsum. Burdge Mortuary was in charge of funeral arrangements
