SIXKILLER, SAMUEL J. Of El Paso, TX, died March 9, 2004. He was born August 25, 1920 to Ned and Ida Sixkiller in Gypsum, CO. He served in the army during WWII, and retired from Qwest in Denver in 1985. He was a member of The Telephone Pioneers. He was active in the Edgewater Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star, El Jebel Shrine Motor Patrol and Elks Lodge. He will be remembered for his love of fishing, love of his wife, daughters and his sister and for his commitment to work and friends. He is survived by his wife Laura; daughter Mary Ellen of El Paso, TX; a sister Juanita Easton of Gypsum, CO; and several nieces, nephews and friends. His daughter Fran passed away in 2003.
Graveside services at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Gypsum on Saturday, Aug. 28th at 1pm.
