Joseph "Albert" Skiles of Burns died of natural causes April 24 at the Colorado State Veterans Nursing Home in Rifle.
Mr Skiles, a rancher most of his life, was born June 7, 1916 in Brusn to James L. and Beatrice (Cock) Skiles. He married Eldora Van Horn Jan 20,. 1946 in Colorado Springs. He was a life long member of DAV and American Legion of McCoy.
Survivors include his wife Eldora of Burns, sofns Earl and Sandy Skiles of Burns, dauthwers Jonnie (Lynn) Pitmann of Grand Junction adn Christy (Ed) Godeski of Glenwood Springs; and brother James B. Skiles of Delta.
Funeral services held April 27 at the eagle Independent Baptist Church, Pastor Bruce ?Dunsdon officiating. Memorial contributions to the Burns Community Center. Arrangements by Sowder Funeral hOme of Rifle.
