GEORGE SPANGLER DIED IN CALIFORNIA

George Spangler, one time resident of Red Cliff and Gypsum, died in California Monday, according to word received here by American Legion Post 150 Tuesday. Mr. Spangler, veteran of World War 1, has been living in California for the past number of years and has been in failing health for a long time. At one time he was a partner of Charley Hembergejr in ranching on Cooley Mesa near Gypsum and also lived in Red Cliff prior to the first world war. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Spangler of San Gabriel, Calif., and also former county residents* Burial wos Wednesday at Ft. Rosecaraus, San Diego, Calif.
