Erich L. Cron, 80, of Palisade, CO, passed away on September 18, 2018. He was born June 27, 1938, to Isabel and Frederick Cron. Erich graduated from high school in Washington, D.C. and then received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. He was a Mechanical Engineer in Manufacturing, Research and Development. He served in the U.S. Army. Erich married Edna Jones in Denver, CO, on July 26, 1969. They had three children, Carl, Kevin, and Carolyn. Erich was a member of the NRA, American Legion, AARP, and ASME. His interests included hunting, fishing, and gunsmithing. He is survived by his wife, Edna Cron of Palisade; sons, Carl Cron of Fruita, CO, and Kevin Cron of Lithia, FL; daughter, Carolyn Mihaichuk of New Lenox, IL; brother, Frederick Cron of Atlanta, GA, and grandchildren, Devin and Genysee Mihaichuk, and Alexander and Andrew Cron. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Matthews Episcopal Church on Saturday, September 22, at 3:00 p.m. Inurnment will be at the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery at a later date.

Erich L. Cron, 80, Palisade, died Sept. 18, 2018, at Solstice Senior Living at Mesa View. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church. He was a mechanical engineer. Survivors include his wife Edna; two sons, Carl of Fruita and Kevin of Lithia, Florida; one daughter, Carolyn Mihaichuk of New Lenox, Illinois; one brother, Frederick of Atlanta, Georgia; and four grandchildren.
