Joseph L. Mastro, 74, Grand Junction, died September 7, 2018, while at Lake Powell, Utah. Services will be held on October 5, 2018, at the Veteran’sCemetery, Riverside Pkwy, at 10:00 a.m. Immediately afterward there will be a memorial service at the Eagles Aerie 595, 1674 Rte. 50, Grand Junction, followed by a luncheon celebrating Joe’s life. Joe was a U. S. Army Veteran who served as a medic during Vietnam, and received the Sharpshooter Badge Rifle M14. Joe was an avid biker. He bought, sold, road, fixed and rehabbed bikes all of his adult life. He did the same with classic cars. Joe also had a knack for finding arrowheads and Native American rocks used for cooking and weapon making. These items will be donated, in his name, to The Museum of the West in Grand Junction. Above all, Joe was an enthusiastic fisherman. Anytime he could get away to Lake Powell, he did. He was an active member of the Eagles Aerie 595 and the BOB’s. Joe will be sorely missed by many, many friends and family. Survivors include his two brothers, John Mastro, his wife, Debra and daughter, Tami, of Greeley, PA; William Mastro, his wife, Ginny, daughter, Stacy, and son, Michael of Westbury, NY; sister, Margaret Emanuel, daughter, Erica, son, Joseph of Milford, PA; daughter, Jazmyn Queen and grandson, Jehron, of Grand Junction, CO.
