Johnnie Franklin Jones, 83, Grand Junction, died Oct. 6, 2018, at his home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado, 2830 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction. He is retired from the U.S. Navy and owner and operator of Jones Refrigeration and Appliance Repair. He is survived by his wife Shirley; three sons, Gregory of Grand Junction, Timothy of Hartsel and Rodney of Silt; two daughters, Connie Meckley of Rimrock, Arizona, and Patti Hamilton-M’Hamdi of Clifton; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions to HopeWest Hospice Care Center, 3090B N. 12th St., Grand Junction, 81506.
