Arthur A. "Slim" Stephenson, long time local resident and life time rancher died Wednesday, Jan 3. He was 73. He was born to Willima and Laura Stephenson on Aug 27, 1922 in Belmont, Idaho and enliste Dec 13 in the US Army Air reserves. Stationed in Burmuda and honorable discharged in Dec 1948. He moved to Colorado in 1946 and settled in Eagle in 1962. He is survived by his wife Marilyn Carter Stephenson of Eagle, daughter Susan Hart and husband of Gypsum, son Robert and wife Jodeen of Eagle, Dennis Jerger and his wife Chris of Edwards, .
