Zellard G. "Zeke" Summerfield died Jan. 12. He was 88.
Mr. Summerfield was born July 21, 1899 at Mechanicsburg, Ill. , the son of Robert Summerfield and Cora Walket Summerfield. He was the maintenance supervisor for a railroad and member of Glenwood Masonic Lodge. He came to the area in 1987 from Dacono.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Clara Knapp Summerfield, and a brother Oley Summerfield.
He is survived by his son, Robert (Mildred) Summerfield of Longmont; a daughter, Louise (Felix) Reynolds of Gypsum, a brother M.L. Summerfield of Florence, Ariz.; grandchild Tim Reynolds of Steamboat Springs, and cousin Jesse Jones of Longmont. Burial was at Rosebud, Glennwood Springs.
