VERNIE HESS SWARTWOOD DIES IN DENVER
A former Eagle woman died in ! a Denver hospital Monday of cancer. Vernie Hess Swartwood, daughter of Anna Hess and the late !Ed Hess, passed away Monday, | tallowing an illness, which had i confined her to the hospital for the past several months. 1 Beside her mother, Mrs Swartl wood is survived by her husband, ' Michael A. Swartwood of 560 Marion. Denver; her two daughters: Ardith B. Johnson of Chap!el Hill, North Carolina and Max1 ine B Danielson and a grand- , daughter, Susie Danielson, both ‘ of Denver. Services were at Olinger Chapel, Denver, Tuesday and burial in Fairmount of that cityi In place of flowers the family ; requested contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. Mrs- Swartwood lived in Eagle as a young woman.
