Pneumonia Claims Another Victim,
W . E . Swartz, aged 46 years died at the hospital at about 3: 50 o clock after an illness of nine days, Mr. Swartz was confined to his bed nine days ago and immediately began to sink and never during his illness was there any marked improvement. Pneumonia was the immediate cause of death. Mr . Swartz came to this town last August from Denver and entered upon his duties as superintendent of the construction work of the new wing at the hospital, a line of work in which he bad specialized himself.
The deceased was a man of superior ability and by his congenial and upright ways he made many friends during his short stay in this town who today mourn with the surviving members of his family, The deceased is survived by a wife, three sons, and one daughter. The two eldest boys were with their father when the end came but the bereaved widow arrived just too late to see him in life. Mr. Swartz was a member of the K. of P order and two labor organizations and carried insurance to the amount of 23 , 00 . The remains will be shipped to Denver tomorrow and interment will take place in Fairmount cemetery.
