Kevin Robert Murphy, 66, Grand Junction, died Oct. 16, 2018, in Grand Junction. No services are planned at this time. He was a mining supervisor. Survivors include his wife, Karen; five sons, Kevin Jr. of Grand Junction, Brian and Brent, both of Silt, and Erik and Derick, both of Wenatchee, Washington; one daughter, Shawna Murphy of Grand Junction; his mother, Janeth Murphy of Grand Junction; one brother, Michael of Elko, Nevada; one sister, Rhonda Murphy of Elko; and four grandchildren. Memorial contributions to a veterans organization of one’s choice.
