William F. Taylor, long-time resident of Brush Greek, died in the Riffle Hospital October 24, 1963. He had been in failing health for several months. He was born in .Utica, N. Y, on Sept. 10, 1885 and had lived in this area for 59 years. He was married to Lena McGuire over fifty years ago, and the couple had lived here continuously. Their only child, a son, died in infancy. Mr and Mrs Taylor farmed on Salt Creek, only recently selling their property there and- made then made their home down in Brush Creek for some time. Funeral services were conducted in Miller Chapel in Eagle Sunday afternoon by Reverend L. B. .Friend and interment was in the -Eagle cemetery Pall bearers were Boy Mosher, Bill Whittaker, Ordie and Johnny Robertson,' Allen Baton and Fred Rule. He is survived by his wife, Lena; n niece, Mrs Tom (Barbara) Pearch and a nephew, Frank Gleason.
