Elaine M. Bull December 7, 1951 - December 23, 2018
Elaine M. Bull, 67, of Walnutport, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. She and her husband, Dr. Malcolm I. Bull, celebrated 42 years of marriage this year, of which she was extremely proud. Born in 1951 in Allentown, she was the second daughter and fourth child of Richard and Edith Stoll. Elaine earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Duquesne University and began her career at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD, where she met Malcolm. She continued her work in health care running her husband’s oncology practice for more than 30 years. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and an active member of the Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O.). Elaine’s quick smile, hearty laughter, patient listening, and thoughtful perspective have made her the trusted friend and advisor to many and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by husband, Malcolm; sister, Mary Stoll; daughters, Lara Bull-Otterson (Jim Otterson); Melissa Acquaviva (Chris), and Diana Bull (Raoni Padui); sons, Todd Bull (Sarah), and Steven Bull (Andrea Hart), and nine grandchildren. Elaine was predeceased by brothers, Jack Stoll and Richard Stoll. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 31st at 10:30 a.m. in St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 4412 Mountain View Dr., Walnutport. Family and friends may call at the church Monday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass. Burial will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery, Bethlehem.
