Ronald Dale Stanfield, 65, Grand Junction, died Oct. 27, 2018, at HopeWest Hospice Care Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 19 at Clifton Christian Church. He was a salesman in the tire industry. Survivors include his wife, Valerie; three stepsons, Matthew Dible of Grand Junction, Bradley Dible of Cleveland, Texas, and Benjamin Dible of Twenty-Nine Palms, California; one daughter, Desma Bradfish of Grand Junction; one brother, Jay of Grand Junction; two sisters, Lavonne Holmes of Fruita and Mariann Stanfield of Grand Junction; and seven grandchildren. Ronald Dale Stanfield July 9, 1953 - October 27, 2018
Ronald Dale Stanfield passed away October 27, at HopeWest Hospice, Grand Junction, at the age of 65. He was born in Grand Junction on July, 9 1953, the son of Rose Ellen and Melvin Stanfield. Ron was very talented with his hands and was willing to tackle almost all things mechanical as well as carpentry, and he was always willing to help others if needed. Ron enjoyed the outdoors including fishing, riding his 4-wheelers with his family, and target shooting. He worked in the tire industry for most of his life, working for various tire outlets in the valley, but he really found a home working with the team at Commercial Tire Service. He was always grateful of the kindness and consideration they showed him in the later stage of his life. Ron is survived by his wife of 28 years, Valerie; daughter, Desma Bradfish (Kurt); step-sons, Matthew Dible (Sydney), Bradley Dible (Danelle), and Benjamin Dible (Ashley), as well as his siblings, Lavonne Holmes (Lindsay), Mariann Stanfield, and Jay Stanfield (Cindy); cousin, Don Stanfield (Darlene), and seven grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HopeWest. There will be a service on November 19, at 2:00 p.m. at Clifton Christian Church.
