Vern Johnson, 77, Grand Junction, died March 7, 2019, in Grand Junction. Visitation will be from 2–5 p.m. Thursday at Browns Funeral Service Chapel. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at the chapel. He was a truck driver. Survivors include two sons, Kendall and Eddie, both of Utah; six daughters, Penny and Cheryl, both of Utah, Nora Martinez, Irene Garcia and Tina Keeling, all of Grand Junction and Lora Atkinson of Idaho Falls, Idaho; one sister, Mable Elliott of Boise, Idaho; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions to Jubilee Family Church, 486 30 Road, Grand Junction, 81504.
