Curtis G. White, 69, Molina, died Nov. 25, 2018, at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Clover Cemetery in Collbran. He was a vocational facility supervisor. Survivors include his wife Lorraine; three sons, Travis of Grand Junction, Rory White of Collbran and Brandon Kulp of Moses Lake, Washington; three daughters, Brandy White of Grand Junction, Colette Grundy of Collbran and Marci Grundy of Mesa; his parents, John and Jean White of Collbran; two brothers, Eldon and Gary, both of Grand Junction; three sisters, Carol White, Norma Darnell and Karen Wiest, all of Grand Junction; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Curtis Gene White, age 69, passed away suddenly at his home in Molina, Colorado. Curt is survived by his wife and best friend of 18 years, Lorraine (Larsen) White; children, Travis (Aeron) White, Rory White, Brandy White, Colette (Daniel) Grundy, Marci (Mike) Grundy, and Brandon Kulp; sisters, Carol (Gary Armstrong), Norma (Otis) Darnell, and Karen (Ray) Wiest, and brother, Gary White; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Eldon and daughter-in-law, Terri. Curt was born in Fruita, Colorado on October 13, 1949, to John and Jean White. He was raised in the Plateau Valley area. Curt was the second oldest of six siblings. As a child he milked cows and helped on the family farm, located in Molina. After high school he honored our country by joining the Army in 1968. He received numerous combat decorations while serving in Vietnam. Upon his honorable discharge, he married Kathy Shidler in 1971, and had three children. He work for several years for Mesa County Road and Bridge. He was also very active in the Plateau Valley Fire Department (Mesa). Curt held the title of Firefighter, Fire Chief, EMT, EMT1, and first responder instructor. He was self-employed for several years before joining the team at Collbran Job Corp where he retired from his position as a Vocational Facility Supervisor in 2016. After a lengthy friendship he married Lorraine Larsen in March 2005. Curt loved to hunt and be outdoors. He was very family oriented and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Please join the family for a graveside service at Clover Cemetery in Collbran, Colorado on Saturday December 1, 2018, at 2:00 p.m.
