James O. Squires, 79, Grand Junction, died Nov. 24, 2018, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Services will be at 3 p.m. Dec. 17 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado. He was a lineman and heavy equipment operator. Survivors include his wife, Jean; two sons, James and Rodney, both of Grand Junction; one daughter, Shelley Squires of Cheyenne, Wyoming; one brother, Gary of Rifle; one sister, Doris Barber, of New Mexico; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
