Kenneth Edward Cooper Sr., 76, Mack, died Thursday, June 20 at St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center. He was a miner, mucker and muleskinner. Services will be Monday, July 8, at 3 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Carol of Mack; two sons, Kenneth Edward Jr. of Georgia and James Mitchell of Mack; two daughters, Terri Ann O’Leary of Rockwell, Texas and Ada Renee Cooper of Fruita; two brothers, James Leroy Cooper of San Diego and Randy Alejandro Cooper of Oak Harbor, Washington; one sister, Joetta Lantz of Anacortes, Washington; and 10 grandchildren. Flowers may be sent to Browns Cremation and Funeral Service, 904 N. Seventh Street in Grand Junction.
