Lindsay Labaree went to be with the angels on Tuesday Jan 7th, 2020. Lindsay was born on June 12, 1979 and grew up here in Steamboat Springs. She went to public school and graduated from Steamboat High School in 1997. In school she participated in soccer, swim team, and Nordic skiing with the Winter Sports Club. She was a kind and loyal friend to many of her teammates and classmates. After high school she attended the University of Wyoming and graduated with a degree in physical education. “GO COWBOYS”. She loved WYO and grew and thrived there. Her trademark was her beautiful red hair. After college she moved to Durango CO and became the aquatics director at the Rec Center. She loved that job. Got married and had two boys, Jackson who is 12 and Blair who is 10. Her greatest joy was being a Mom. She loved her boys "To the Moon and back” as she would say. The time of her death she was working for the ski area in KVC and also Perry Mansfield in the summer. She is survived by her Two boys, her parents Hud and Jean Labaree. Her brother Blair Labaree and his wife Lora and their two kids Aspen and Maverick and our dog Sammy girl. Numerous Aunts and Uncles and cousins. We will miss her smiling face. She died of complications from surgery for a Cavernous Angioma. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Angioma Alliance or a charity of your choice in her name.
