Charles R. Thomas was born in Avon, Colorado, April 7, 1906 to Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas. He died in Visalia, California on January 29, 1967 at the age of 60 years.
After graduating from Eagle High School, Mr. Thomas was associated with his brother, Cliff, in operation of a store at Edwards. He later owned and operated the Avon Store.
He was married to the former Ethel Irene (Peggy) Snyder of Delta and they resided in Avon until they moved to California around 20 years ago.
Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife, Peggy, and an adopted daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Mayfield of Salinas, Calif.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas of Pueblo and a sister, Mrs. Mable Eaton of Eagle. His brother Cliff, preceded him in death.
