Catholic services will be conducted in the Miller Chapel at Eagle January 10 by Father Thomas Stone for the late Min Sharp Thomas, who died in Glenwood January 6, 1964 after an illness of several weeks.
Mrs. Thomas had been in the Rifle hospital since early last fall, then transferred to Glenwood for treatment of cancer.
She had been a resident of Eagle since the early 1930's, with her late husband, Lou Sharp, establishing a business firm here at that time.
After Mr. Sharp's death, she continued operating the business, later turning it over to her son, George Carlow.
Mrs. Thomas was born August 27, 1886.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Thomas of Eagle; a son, George Carlow, Eagle; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Simmons of the West Coast; and two grandchildren, Pat Carlow and Mrs. Janice Starr and one great-grandchild, Deena Starr.
Pallbearers were Wayde Rogers, John Robertson, Bud Eaton, Jim Seabry, Buzz Rivers and Rolland Randall. Interment was in Sunset Cemetery Eagle, directed by Miller Mortuary.
