Longtime Minturn resident Eloisa Floridia Trujillo died Thursday, March 22, at Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital in Denver. She was 83.
Born in Vadito, N.M., on Sept. 27, 1917, Trujillo was married to Edward Trujillo in November of 1946. Edward Trujillo died Feb. 8, 1978.
Eloisa Trujillo is survived by daughters Rachel Trujillo, of Minturn, Elsie Medina, of New Mexico, Betty Padilla, of Denver, JoAnn Candelairo, of Thornton, and son Tony Trujillo, of Pueblo.
She is also survived by brothers Joe Sisneros, of Taos, N.M., and Paul Sisneros, of Gypsum, and sister Frances Vigil, of Taos, N.M. Trujillo had seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
There was a memorial service at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Minturn March 24, and Trujillo was laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery in Minturn.
