Roger spent most of his
childhood in Grand Junction,
Colorado and graduated from
Grand Junction High School
in 1959. He joined the Marine
Corps November, 1960 and
served four and one half years.
He married Charlene Conn
in 1966, who preceded him in
death in 1990.
Roger retired from the Cement
Masons Union in 2006 after working 50 years in the trade.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Dickson; sister,
Judy Boothe, and brother, Barney Hudson.
Roger is survived by his wife of 30 years, Darlene Hudson; sons,
Shannon Hudson, of Thorton, CO; Tim Hudson, of San Ramon,
CA, and Kent Hudson, of Brentwood, CA; daughters, Tami
Hudson, of Katy, TX, and Marci Herrera, of Commerce City, CO;
step-daughters, Monica Hall, of Menno, SD, and Tawnny Garner,
of Denver, CO; 22 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of life for Roger in Grand Junction at
Canyon View Park, 730 24 Road, at the Gunnison Shelter section
on June 5, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
