Lenora Louis Buzzard
Johnson, “Nori”, 77, of
Grand Junction, Colorado,
passed away July 29, 2021,
with her children by her
side. A celebration of life
will be held at CallahanEdfast on August 5, 2021, at 2:00 p.m.
Lenora was born in Rifle, Colorado, on June 23, 1944.
She graduated from Grand Junction High School in
1962.
Lenora was married to Earl J. Buzzard in May, 1978;
they were married 39 years. Lenora worked as a meat
wrapper for City Market for over 30 years.
She enjoyed watching sports, going to Las Vegas and
Mesquite, Nevada, with her husband, and spending
valuable time with her loved ones.
She is survived by children, Karol A. Austin (Mike
Schasusten), of Grand Junction, CO; Warren L. (Jen), of
Loma, CO; Ronald “Ron” C. (Paula), of Beaver Creek,
OH, and William “Willie” J. (Brandie); grandchildren,
Lanie R. (Kirk) Osborne, Barry C. (Chloe) Pinney,
Connor R. Austin, Caleb M. Austin, Eric J. Austin, Lexa
Denke, and Savanna Denke; six great-grandchildren;
12 siblings; many nieces and nephews, and many other
family and friends who she held close to her heart.
Lenora is preceded in death by Earl J. Buzzard,
Dorothy E. Johnson, Edward G. Johnson, Ted Johnson,
Mert Johnson, Marva Simpson, and Lincoln Simpson.
Her children are asking that any memorial
contributions be made to Hospice HopeWest of
Grand Junction, Colorado, or to any other non-profit
organization, in the name of Lenora L Buzzard.
