W. Gerry, passed away
on July 30, 2021, after a
long illness. He was born
November 14, 1932, to
Woodrow and Ivy Gerry in
Loma, Colorado.
Gene was very proud of being a Marine Corps veteran
that served in Korea. He owned and operated a dairy in
Collbran. He also owned and operated a construction
company in Durango, Colorado and later retired in
Arizona.
Gene is survived by his wife of 20 years, Martha
Gerry; sisters, Wanda Hooker, of Palisade, Colorado,
and Mary Wilkerson, of Fruita, Colorado; brother,
Lloyd (Carmen) Gerry, of Missouri; his children,
Barbra (Rob) Weaver, Tom Gerry, and Jill Greason, and
multiple grandchildren.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow
and Ivy Gerry; previous wife, Doris Jean, and sons,
Rodney and George Gerry.
Graveside services will be held at a later date in
Collbran, Colorado.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of
Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
