A letter from Ralph Wolverton at Palo Alto, Calif., received this week informs us of the death of Mrs. Clara Waldo, widow of the late Mr. H. Waldo, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.S. Wolverton, in Palo Alto on December 20, 1939, at the age of 81 years.

Mrs. Waldo and her husband lived in Eagle in the earlier days of the town leaving here some twenty-two years ago. She is survived by her daughter, a grandson, Chas. Wolverton of Arbuckle, Calif., and two great-granchildren
