Ryan E. Gonzales
“RyRy” passed away in
Denver, CO, on August
14, 2021. His passing was
sudden and unexpected,
leaving us all in disbelief.
As we begin to heal from
this unceasing loss, we want to remember Ryan for all
the valuable gifts that he gave to this world during his
35 years of life. He made a friend everywhere he went
and if you were lucky enough, that friendship turned
into a family bond.
He embraced life with no fear and the adventurous
motto of YOLO. This spirit led him down many
different roads paved with good and bad experiences all
leading him to his final destination.
Ryan had a passion for people and supporting his
PRIDE family. His work with education HIV outreach
allowed him to pursue that passion in providing
knowledge and resources to help his community thrive.
He was excelling in his occupation as Inventory
& Fulfillment of Operations, and was proud of how
quickly he was being promoted.
Ryan leaves behind his life partner, Hernan Marquez;
mother, Pam Gonzales; father, Eugene Gonzales;
mother-in-law, Maria Morales; sisters, Heather
Gonzales and Jamie Gonzales; sisters-in-law, Rebecca
Rosales and Erika Marquez; nieces, Calley Gonzales,
Jennassi Gonzales, and Nevaeh Reyes, and nephews,
Victor Reyes and Juanito Deherrera,
He is preceded in death by grandmothers, Mildred
Kinney and Mary Kay Gonzales, and grandfather, Joe
Gonzales.
Services will be September 3, 2021, 2:00 p.m., at First
Congregational United Church of Christ, 1425 N. 5th
St., Grand Junction, CO. Following the service will be a
Celebration of Life in Palisade, CO, at the Palisade Hall
Community Center
