Funeral services for Francis Patrick (Frank) Walsh, late of Minturn, were held Saturday, March 23, from the Church of the Annunciation, Rev. E.L. Horgan officiating assisted by the Annunciation choir.

Pallbearers were John J. Bohen, Joe Boland, William Hasty, William McBreen, William Flynn and Harold Wister. Interment was in St. Joseph's cemetery.

Francis P. Walsh was born Jan. 15, 1893 in Leadville, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John F. Walsh. He attended school here and in 1908 moved to Cedaredge with his parents. He served in World War I and was a member of Leadville Post No. 7, American Legion.

Mr. Walsh had been with the Rio Grande for several years as a shop man. He had not been feeling well for the past year and went to the Rio Grande hospital in Salida a month ago for treatment of a heart ailment. He suffered a heart attack the morning of March 20 and died within a few hours.

Surviving him are three sisters, Mrs. J.K. Mahoney of Avon, Mrs. Helen Frank of Denver and Mrs. Genevieve Keefer of Anaheim, California; a brother, William Walsh of Cedaredge; five nephews and four nieces.
