Donald Anthony
Arellano, age 79, passed
away Saturday, December
11, 2021.
Born on March 10, 1942,
he was a son of the late Joe
and Della Arellano. Don
graduated from Grand Junction High School with the
class of 1961. After high school he served proudly in the
US Army during Vietnam.
Don and his late brother, Ron Arellano, started
Woodlands Furniture here in Grand Junction. After
the furniture store Don worked with several printing
companies in the Grand Valley until retiring in early
2000.
Don could often be found on the Grand Mesa in his
iconic orange K/5 Blazer making memories with his
boys. Other hobbies included hunting, woodworking,
and endless hours perfecting his lawn.
He was an amazing father, supporting both of his
boys and his grandkids.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Della and
Joe, and his brother, Ronald Arellano.
He is survived by sons, Marty Arellano, and
Joel (Gena) Arellano; sisters, Noni and Joelle; four
grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Memorial services will be delayed until Spring/
Summer of 2022.
