James Albert White was born October 11, 1884 in Iowa. He had been a resident of Minturn for 33 years, employed at the Empire Zinc Co. mine in Gilman.
On September 16, 1908, Mr. White married Myrmetia Hynes at Victor, Colorado. Mrs. White died in 1958.
The funeral service was conducted at the Minturn Presbyterian Church Thursday, interment was directed by Burdge Mortuary of Glenwood, in the Minturn Cemetery. 100F Lodge 18 of Red Cliff of which Mr. White was a member, conducted graveside services.
He is survived by one son, Clarence of Minturn; one half brother George Calhoon of Gallup, N. Mex. and two half sisters, Mary Lehr of Washington and Maude Lehr of Denver; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
