Gladys Marie McKinnis
(Mair) passed away
peacefully, at the age of
75, on December 22, 2021.
She was a beloved mother,
sister, grandma, aunt, and
friend. She was loved by
everyone she met.
Gladys was born in
Durango, CO, September 26, 1946. She has called
Grand Junction home since 1977. She was an avid
Denver Bronco fan. She loved spending time at the
genealogy library and with family and friends. She was
a long-time member of the First United Methodist and
Crossroads United Methodist Churches. She worked for
many years in the nursery at Freeway Bowl, and always
loved all the kids in her care.
She is survived by children, Michelle, Tammy
(Randy), and Michael; brother, Jim; grandchildren,
Jordan and James, and numerous nieces, nephew, greatnieces, great-nephews, and the many that she called her
adopted grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents, Glenn and
Jaroldine; brother, Jerry, and grandson, John.
The family would like to thank everyone who offered
their love and support during this difficult time. A
special thank you to the staff at HopeWest Hospice for
their excellent and loving care.

A memorial service will be January 14, 2022, at 2:00
p.m., at Crossroads United Methodist Church, 599 30
Road, Grand Junction, CO 81504.
