Chapel. Interment followed
at Cortez Cemetery.
Bobby Jo was born July
7, 1928, in Texhoma, OK, the daughter of Herbert Guy
and Helen Pauline (Thompson) Gafford. She passed
away peacefully early Tuesday morning, December 28,
2021, at HopeWest Hospice in Grand Junction, CO, at
the age of 93.
Surviving Bobby Jo is her loving husband of 75 years,
Walter Ertel, of Grand Junction, CO; children, Debbie
Keller (Chuck), of Grand Junction, CO, and Keenan
Ertel (Beverlee), of Cortez, CO; grandchildren, Brad
Keller (Stephanie), of Grand Junction, CO; Jon Keller
(Cassie), of Grand Junction, CO; Kinsey Ertel (Donnie
Tanner), of Cortez, CO; Tyson Ertel (Brittanie Hager),
of Grand Junction, CO, and great-grandchildren, Jacob
Keller, Matthew Keller, Gareth Keller, Oliver Keller,
Kaden Huff, Kamdynn Hager, and Keagan Ertel
Moralez. She was preceded in death by her parents,
and siblings, Douglas Gafford, Buster Gafford, Jerry
Gafford, and Donald Gafford.
