Jack Prinster passed
away at his home in
Sonoma, California, on
November 30, 2021.
He was born on
November 2, 1930, in
Grand Junction, Colorado,
to Paul H. Prinster and Goldie Ridgway Prinster. He
graduated from Phillips Academy, Andover MA,
and attended the University of Southern California,
Georgetown University, and Woodbury University. He
served in the United States Air Force 1951-1953.
In 1985, Jack retired from a long and notable career
with Safeway, Inc. During his last five years with
Safeway, he was an Executive Officer, serving as the
Senior Vice President, Director of Marketing.
Jack was predeceased by James Bloom, his husband
and partner of 50 years. He is survived by his niece and
nephews and many dear friends, who will greatly miss
his kind nature and quiet dignity.
Burial has taken place at the Mountain Cemetery in
Sonoma, California
