She was a daughter,
a sister, a girlfriend, a
wife, a mother, an aunt, a
grandmother and a friend.
For 80 years and 47 days,
Dixie Lea Fowler made
everyone around her a
happier person and every
occasion memorable and
special. She dedicated her
life to her family, whether
it was her brother, Roy
and her sister, Marie or
her children, Kelly, Joshua
and Jason, or her husband,
Keith, with whom she
created the perfect love
story. Nothing made her
happier than family. Her six grandchildren, Leah,
Ethan, Taylor, Caitlyn, BayLea and Breccan knew her
as Mimi. And that’s who she was, Mimi. She taught
us to cook, to love, to dance like no one was watching
and to put a smile on the face of everyone we met. The
hardest thing is to say goodbye to her. The happiest
thing is that she is now with Pa and their dog, Jack. She
passed away on January 12, 2022, as comfortable as she
could be. She will be missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 31825 Willow
Bend Road, Whitewater, CO on Saturday, February 5,
2022, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
