Jeremiah “Miah” Lee
Neece passed away
unexpectedly March 10,
2022, where he returned
home to his Heavenly
Father and was greeted with open arms by his
grandfather, George Neece. Miah left us way too soon,
but managed to touch so many lives in his short time on
earth. He was loved by many, especially his family and
friends, that had the privilege of knowing him.
Miah was born September 14, 1991, to Ron and Kerry
Neece. He had a passion for life. He enjoyed fishing,
bow hunting, drag racing, and hanging out with his
family and his many friends.
He leaves behind his grieving parents, Ron and Kerry
Neece; brother, Allen; sister, Elysha (Joe); girlfriend,
Melina Corbin; grandmothers, Marilee “Lee” Neece
and Peggy Rathburn-Barney; grandfather, Tom
Rathburn; uncles, Jason Neece (Dacia), Justin Neece,
Justin Rathburn, and Jake and Alexa Foster, and many
other extended family and friends.
Miah was preceded in death by his grandfather,
George Neece, and uncle, Jeremiah Neece.
He will be loved and eternally missed, but he will
never be forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation at
Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, Grand Junction, CO, Friday,
March 18, 2022, from 5 - 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday
morning from 9 - 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of his life
will take place in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will
follow in Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
