Tara Dawn Bird, 40, of
Fruita, CO, passed away
Tuesday, March 1, 2022.
She is survived by her
parents, Bill and Shari
Bird; sisters, Tiffany Bird
and Abbi Withrow, and
son, Garrett Grant.
Tara was born in Grand Junction on March 13, 1981.
She attended Pomona Elementary, West Middle School,
Fruita Middle School and graduated from Fruita High
School in 1998.
Tara was a beautiful soul, inside and out. She loved
all her family, especially her son, to the moon and back
and a thousand times over. She loved all living things
and had an impeccable green thumb. Her personality
and laughter were contagious. Her beautiful smile will
always be remembered. She could melt your heart with
her kindness and thoughtful ways. She will always be
with all of us, in our hearts and souls.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May
14th, 2022, at her parent’s house at 2:00 p.m. Please text
her sister, Tiffany, for more details. Please no monetary
