William (Carl) Comer
Jr. passed away quietly on
March 26, 2022. He was
75 years of age.
Carl was an only child,
born December 17, 1946,
in Piggott, Arkansas to
William and Karen (Lincoln)Comer. He attended high
school and college in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Carl was a veteran of the Vietnam War, from 1968
to 1972, as an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist, where
he earned The Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal,
Air Force Good Conduct Medal, The National Defense
Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal.
Carl worked for several years in Denver and Grand
Junction in insurance sales. He enjoyed golfing, fishing,
music, traveling, and football. He loved to ride with
friends on his Harley. As Carl would say, in this life “I
Did It My Way.”
Memorial services will be held at the Veterans
Cemetery in Grand Junction at a future date
