McCall, age 46, of Fruita,
CO, passed away on
Wednesday, May 11, 2022
at her home. Michelle was
born on February 27, 1976 in Grand Junction, CO to
Mr. Robert J. Baker and Mrs. Roberta Laughlin Baker.
Michelle spent her childhood growing up in Grand
Junction, she graduated from Grand Junction High
School in 1994, and received her Bachelor’s Degree in
Finance with an emphasis in Business from Mesa State
College in 1998. She formerly worked as a Mortgage
Underwriter/Processor for Major Mortgage in Grand
Junction. In December of 2009, under the eyes of God,
Michelle married, Ryan A. McCall.
Michelle is survived by loving husband Ryan of
Fruita; son, Calvin R. McCall of Fruita; parents, Robert
J. and Roberta L. Baker of Grand Junction; her inlaws, Ray and Jennifer McCall; her siblings, Travis C.
Baker of Grand Junction and Ashlee J. Baker of Fruita.
Michelle is also survived by her former husband Scott
Bialokowski.
Michelle was preceded in death by grandparents;
Forrest and Lois Laughlin; John Baker, and Louise
McWhirter.
Michelle often quoted lines from the movies she
enjoyed and was also know for reciting the quote “are
you kidding me?” She was like a fish in the way she
loved to swim. Michelle played soccer, volleyball,
softball, and basketball during her school years. She
also spent many years in dance and performed at dance
recitals. Michelle attended Valley Bible Church and
memorized scripture with the Awana Clubs. In her
downtime as an adult, she enjoyed crafts, watching
movies, and playing trivia about all movies and actors.
Jeopardy was one of her favorite game shows. Michelle
loved to cook and was always ready to try new recipes.
She loved to cuddle with her dog Duke, and cats, Gravy
and Hobbs.
Michelle, your hugs and your beautiful soul will be
forever missed.
A celebration of Michelle’s life will be held at
Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, Grand Junction, CO, on
Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 1:00p.m. A reception in
her honor will follow from 2-4p.m.
