Gordon Reed, 80, dies in Glenwood Springs

Gordon Reed, 80, recently passed away at the Glen Valley Care Center in Glenwood Springs.

He was born Dec 7, 1920, in Dallas. He served in the US Marines, and lived in Denver and Stockton, Miss., prior to moving to Glenwood Springs in 1999.

He is survived by : his daughters, Susan (Reed) Kraemer of Gypsum and Julie (Reed) Schlegel of Gypsum; a son, David Reed of Weston, Wyo.; a sister, Evelyn Hervey of Nevada City, Calif.; a brother Herbert Reed of Oceanside, Calif.; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
